Disco! Yes Disco, Why Disco?

Back in 2020 during the pandemic, The Rhythm Pilots was formed out of the need for some authentic dance music genre performed by a band in the Upstate New York Capital District and Central New York areas. The reason is quite simple, Well, no one is claiming it or they say they perform dance/party and disco but is that what their focus is on? They are trying to please everyone, which really can’t be achieved. Many touch on it and then move to a different style in the course of their setlist. We have been all in different bands and once a different style of music gets performed, the audience leaves the dance floor and it’s hard to get them back on it once you loose them…. every time we mention that The Pilots are authentic disco and dance band, their eyes light up and bring them back to the clubs in the 70s, 80s and 90s. We figured, Let the other bands have classic rock, country, alt-rock and heavy metal. The Rhythm Pilots have decided to take a different and new route, take a chance and grow our crowd as the night goes on, making sure the dance crowd that has come to see our band doesn’t want to get off the dance floor, and we have noticed from experience, they haven’t. We continue to gain friends, and support and see our fans like us, follow us on social media and grow with us. The Pilots also have some amazing new guest artists throughout the year soon to be announced. We have exciting new tunes being rehearsed and ready for the 2023 season, watch us grow as we take on more clubs, events, casinos and bars throughout New York State and beyond.
